The corridors of the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh were decorated with various paintings by plastic artist Ali Al-Kafri, most of which focused on Palestinian women and heritage, in addition to the participation of a group of plastic artists in honor of the creative artist.

The exhibition included about 35 paintings of different sizes and various techniques, in addition to a symposium on the experience of Al-Kafri, which included artists, critics and researchers.

In a statement to SANA reporter, plastic artist Ali Al-Kafri spoke about creativity in art, which prompts its owner to submit a work that preserves his name for history, noting that he has undergone multiple plastic experiments with a large number of paintings that gave a special impression that was established in the minds of art recipients.

Al-Kafri mentioned that he started his artistic journey from drawing Palestinian women and heritage, presenting about 3000 paintings without focusing on a specific style.

Abdel Muti Abu Zaid, head of the Palestinian Plastic Artists Union, praised honoring the artist in his life so that he feels appreciation for his efforts and the valuable works he provided, pointing to the diversity of paintings and participants in this exhibition as an artistic demonstration that focused on different schools and styles in which the infidel plastic artist worked.

In her speech, the plastic artist Lina Deeb spoke about Al-Kafri, the artist who carries in his paintings his visions full of feelings and special feelings and empties them into a dense formation of environmental and historical heritage, tales and miniatures that reflect the heritage expressed in vibrant lines that overlap and interact, forming a group of structural structures that made up the plastic work as a whole.

Dr. Ali Al-Qayyim said in a speech read by the media, Elham Sultan, that the works of plastic artist Ali Al-Kafri combine high sensitivity in the artwork, great knowledge of its vocabulary, and transparency in the components of the painting, in whose elements we find great accuracy between the vocabulary of shape, color and space.

And because the infidel artist carries Palestine’s concern in his depths, according to the plastic artist, Dr. Muhammad Ghannoum, he embodied this in his valuable artistic experiences that continue to this moment. What distinguishes him is his perseverance and his own discoveries and drawing large murals despite the effort and trouble they require, adding to the paintings the privacy of decoration, giving them a unique and distinctive character.

The journalist, Elham Sultan, pointed out that the infidel artist, who has a path of giving and creativity between Palestine and Damascus, has his own philosophy of art and has created everything he painted about Palestine and the land, love, war and struggle, noting that our cultural and literary symbols are the conscience and address and conscience of Syria.

The artist, Kholoud Karimo, participated in a large oil painting entitled "Regret", in which she focused on the features of the face and hands, expressing the importance of this honorary exhibition for the infidel artist.

The plastic artist Moataz Al-Omari also participated in a painting in which he focused on the resistance and toiling Palestinian women, indicating that she is a symbol of steadfastness in the face of the Zionist occupation, using in his acrylic painting.
