Saturday, February 5, the two candidates for the presidential election held their meeting at the same time. A remote duel that annoys the militants

“Eric Zemmour copies Marine!

", "Marine Le Pen, it's the old days", "if Zemmour wins, it's war", "Marine will never pass"... Only 200 km separate the meetings of the two far-right candidates for the presidential election this Saturday, February 5, but the activists themselves have risen against "the competition" which could prevent the passage to the second round of their colt.

“To win, you have to unite the rights, not divide”, summarizes Cyprien, a young activist who joined the campaign of Éric Zemmour who sees “few differences” ideological with Marine Le Pen.

In Reims, where the candidate of the National Rally gathered her supporters, the name of Zemmour sounds like "plagiarism".

“All his ideas are those that Marine Le Pen had already dealt with”, explains Jean-Bernard, “to such an extent that I wonder if his candidacy is not just serving to destabilize the RN campaign”.

“He has been making these observations for 30 years, he has never contradicted himself”, defends Cyprien from the Lille Grand Palais complex, “unlike Marine Le Pen who reversed her decisions with the euro”.

“Zemmour is misogynist”, asserts Marie-Christine, “he is racist”, adds Sonia, who fears a “civil war” if the ex-editorialist is elected.

A few days earlier, Marine Le Pen had denounced the presence of "a few Nazis" in the entourage of her adversary.

"That's what there was in his party a year ago," retorts Cyprien.

For the young man, all these reproaches are ultimately "a little laughable".
