Animal use on the A9: the police rescued an injured buzzard from the highway.

The road had to be closed for this.

Allershausen

– Thanks to attentive drivers, the police were able to save an injured buzzard from the highway.

The A 9 had to be closed for a short time.

As reported by the traffic police in Freising, the call center in Ingolstadt received on Saturday afternoon that a bird of prey would be sitting on the middle lane in the direction of Munich about two kilometers from the Allershausen junction.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

This is obviously still alive, but probably could not fly away because of injuries he had sustained.

A patrol who arrived shortly afterwards had to temporarily block the highway to save the buzzard.

The injured buzzard was taken into the care of the veterinary clinic in Oberschleißheim.
