An earthquake warning will be activated at 11:05 in the following authorities: Kiryat Shmona, Beit She'an, Acre, Nesher, Arad, Dimona and the Jordan Valley - the IDF spokesman said this morning (Monday), following a technical malfunction. The warning will be sounded. Similar to the alarm, with the addition of a recurring announcement: "Earthquake".



In recent weeks, a series of earthquakes have struck Israel. The Israel Geological Survey reported that the quake was felt 369 kilometers northwest of Nahariya, and that the magnitude of the quake was 5.6.

About two weeks later residents reported an earthquake felt in the north of the country.

The noise is heard in Tiberias, Safed, the Krayot, the Jordan Valley and Beit She'an.

The Geological Survey of Israel reported that at 23:36 the earthquake struck 19 km northeast of Beit She'an, with a magnitude of 3.7 on the Richter scale, and that the epicenter was on the Jordanian border, east of Kibbutz Gesher.



A few hours later, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake was felt In the north of the country, the noise was felt in the villages of Tavor, Beit She'an, Afula and Tiberias. In Beit She'an, municipal employees were evacuated as part of the earthquake procedure.



The last earthquake occurred last week several tens of kilometers west of Cyprus and at a distance of 388 km northwest of Nahariya and with a magnitude of 4.5. The Home Front Command updated that the noise was felt in Israel.
