Immersion in business, sporting events... How Pôle emploi innovates to boost recruitment in the Oise

2022-02-07T14:50:52.563Z

In support of a drop in the number of job seekers in the Oise (-5.3% in 2021), the Pôle emploi teams of the department and the region

“We have returned to the number of job seekers in 2014 and in terms of the volume of recruitments, this is unheard of for 20 years!

For Frédéric Danel, regional director of Pôle emploi Hauts-de-France, 2021 will have been the year of economic recovery and the return to employment.

And the 5,000 employees of Pôle emploi in the 84 agencies in the region are undoubtedly no strangers to this.

Over this year 2021, the recruitment time to fill a position has thus increased to 31 days compared to 41 days in 2019. Proof, according to the director, of the acceleration of recruitment procedures and the relevance of actions going off the beaten track of the 'hiring.

The best example of the success of these systems in the Oise is easily embodied in the operation of the stadium towards employment, which associates recruiters and job seekers in teams to compete in sporting events, no one knowing who is who within each team.

"A fabulous adventure, the people on my team really gave their all," testifies Christel Manguin, president of the personal services company "Entrust us", established on the sites of Saint-Leu d'Esserent and Mouy.

In the end, I summoned and recruited the seven people of my team!

I might not have recruited them on CVs but there, I saw them differently and I was able to observe how they reacted.

In the same vein, a first pedestrian employment rally organized in Creil, bringing together employers and job seekers, enabled seven of the ten participants to return to work.

Employers and job seekers teamed up to solve puzzles during a rally in the town of Creil.

Sometimes, the role of Pôle emploi advisers also consists of broadening the horizons of recruiters. “They helped us find the right profiles for our positions, where the peaks of activity are between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.,” says David Lameirinas, customer relations director at Lyreco. “For us, a lot of selection and training work was needed because we were looking for 25 spinning production operators, skills that have almost disappeared,” emphasizes Armand Adens, financial director at Safilin. And it worked since our 25 people will be ready for the opening scheduled for March. »

Training and immersion in the company are thus regularly offered to job seekers, especially for sectors under pressure for recruitment.

“Our sector is very competitive, there are many needs, indicates Nora Baledent, project manager at Callweb, a call center.

We can take people with no experience, as long as there is desire and motivation.

The training is done with an employee, which facilitates the integration and confidence building of the candidates.

In 2022, Pôle emploi intends to amplify the remobilization of those registered furthest from employment thanks to the remobilization course, "an intensive system in which an adviser will be in permanent contact with 30 people, at a rate of 15 to 20 hours per week. ".
