Iraq recovered 337 artifacts from the Nabu Museum in Lebanon, including 331 cuneiform tablets.
The head of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, Laith Majid Hussein, said during a press conference today at Baghdad International Airport, which was reported by the Iraqi News Agency "INA", that the recovery of the artifacts took place in cooperation between the ministries of culture, tourism, antiquities, foreign affairs, justice and the National Intelligence Service.
Hussein added: This is the second operation after the major recovery operation in which Iraq recovered more than 17 thousand artifacts dating back to the Akkadian era and the era of the dawn of dynasties, as well as six artifacts dating back to the ancient Babylonian era.
