Gaißach - In its most recent meeting, the Gaißach municipal council dealt with the route between Untergries and Mühl.
The street with pavement and lighting, which connects Untergries with nearby Mühl, lies on a 400 meter long, partially built-up section in the Kranzer area outside of the respective yellow place-name signs.
This is an extra-local community connecting road.
However, the speed limit is 50 there too.
Resident hopes for fewer fast moving cars
Resident Christiane Danner has now suggested to the municipality of Gaißach that this section be downgraded to a local road.
She hopes that fewer fast-moving cars will result in a less dangerous situation for local residents.
The municipal council discussed the pros and cons of such a rededication for a long time, but put the matter on hold.
In order to get a better picture, speed measurements should first be carried out on the road section.
