Netanyahu breaks silence: "I did not agree to disgrace" (Walla system!)

The legal adviser to the Ministry of Communications, Adv. Dana Neufeld, will testify this morning in the 4000 case, in the shadow of the allegations about the use of spyware against the former CEO of her office, until the state Shlomo Pilber.

After Neufeld, Shai Haik, a former Likud spokesman and political spokesman for opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who is accused of taking bribes, is expected to testify.

Attorneys Jacques Chen, representing Shaul and Iris Elowitz, asked at the beginning of the hearing to stop the hearing of the witnesses at trial.

We got used to the fact that we and the court were last.

This morning something fell, and it is serious and serious.

If the publications and discoveries were not enough, this morning a real epidemic broke out, in everything related to illegal actions in this investigation.

We think there is no escape, it takes time and time to examine things thoroughly and thoroughly, so that we can establish their meaning. "

"" A long list of witnesses was pasted in the 4000 case, including defendant Iris Elowitz, I do not want to think what the test results will come up after the denials we heard and the things the Israeli police said.

"I do not want to think about the lawyers who have been infected, the director general of the Ministry of Justice God forbid, journalists. We can not, I do not know such an ability, continue to stand in the show when the rules are clear when we trial with the relevant infrastructure. Today we clearly do not have it." .

Defendants' defense attorneys are expected to seek to postpone Pilber's testimony, which is due to testify next week, until the investigation into the use of NSO's Pegasus software is completed.

Earlier this week, judges rejected the defendants' demand to dismiss the evidence and discuss publications about the use of spyware against defendants in the Alps cases, and ordered the prosecution to respond to the allegations by tomorrow.

The police are expected to forward the findings of the investigation to the Ministry of Justice, and the prosecution will update the parties accordingly.

Discussions will resume in the shadow of publications about the use of spyware.

Yesterday, former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published the results of an investigation into his request regarding a recording from Pilber's interrogation room, and the results seem to indicate that the voices discussing the use of espionage in his interrogation are that of Yoav Telem and Adv. Tzipi Gaz, senior investigators in his criminal cases.

Lt. Gen. Telem is the Deputy Head of the Police Investigations and Intelligence Division, who at the time headed the investigation of the 4000 case. Gaz is the director of the Intelligence and Trade Control Department of the Securities Authority, which led the investigation of the 4000 case.

The hearings in the Alps cases, in which former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is accused, resume this morning (Monday) in the Jerusalem District Court.

The hearings will open this morning against the background of reports that the police used spyware against key people involved in Netanyahu's case, the last of which this morning, as well as a recording in which two investigators in Case 4000 are heard allegedly discussing the use of illegal means in one of state witness Shlomo Pilber's interrogations.

Following the publications, Netanyahu's attorneys asked the court to order the prosecution to disclose all materials collected in the investigations using spyware.

Subsequently, the Tax and Economics Prosecutor's Office contacted the defense attorneys for the defendants of the Alps cases and informed them that an "in-depth investigation" was being conducted following the media reports about the use of the NSO tracking software in the cases.

The prosecutor's office also stated that they were "aware of the schedules."

At the last hearing last week, Boaz Stumbler, head of the government advertising bureau, who was head of the information department and spokesman for the prime minister between 2015 and 2018, testified in court.

In his testimony, Stumbler testified that Netanyahu would go over the speaking messages before they came out.

"The written word was very important to him," he said at the hearing.

According to him, from time to time Netanyahu would monitor the impact of the announcements.

What is Netanyahu accused of?

The main gifts were cigars, champagne packages and jewelry.

A tax for returning residents, and he worked to promote a merger of "Keshet" and "Reshet" - ostensibly at Milchen's request.

According to the lawsuit, these acts damaged the image of the public service and the public's trust in it.
