Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that his country will not mortgage its economy to the results of talks to revive the nuclear agreement, reiterating his country's commitment to its commitments in this regard.
During his meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto in Tehran today, Raisi said, "We announced that if the embargo measures are cancelled, the ground is prepared for the agreement, and Iran has demonstrated that it is fulfilling its obligations, but we are not mortgaging our country's economy with the results of talks to revive the nuclear agreement," stressing that the Americans are the ones who violated the nuclear agreement in When the Europeans did not fulfill their obligations, while the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed Iran's peaceful actions in its numerous reports.
Raisi pointed to the Americans' recognition of the catastrophic failure of the policy of maximum pressure on Iran, expressing his hope that European countries would choose the path of independence from American hegemony because the United States is not a credible country.
The Iranian president stressed the current Iranian government's approach to developing relations with neighboring countries, calling on Finland to play a more active role in building peace and preventing insecurity.
For his part, Haavisto expressed his dissatisfaction with the behavior of the United States in the nuclear agreement and said: "It is unfortunate that the Americans abandoned their commitment to the nuclear agreement."
Haavisto pointed out that his country pays attention to developing its relations with Iran in various fields, especially in the field of regional security and world peace.
