A teenager runs a Twitter account that tracks Elon Musk's private jet.

A Model 3 is now even waving for the deletion of the account. But the teenager remains firm.

Austin - Last week it was revealed that Tesla CEO Elon Musk* offered teenager Jack Sweeney $5,000.

For this, the 19-year-old should delete his Twitter account Elonjet, on which - quite officially - the flight movements of Musk's private plane are tracked.

That wasn't enough for Sweeney, however, and he made a counter offer.

He should close the channel for $50,000 so that the multi-billionaire would have more privacy again.

He later wrote to Musk that he would also give up the money for an internship.

After a few days of radio silence, things seem to have started moving again.

Musk is said to have broken off contact with Sweeney by blocking the teenager's account.

But the 19-year-old received an offer from a completely different side via Twitter.

Autonomy CEO Scott Painter offered Sweeney a Tesla* Model 3 to shut down the Elonjet.

But Sweeney turned down the offer.

Because he would only have been allowed to drive the Tesla Model 3* for three years, after which he would have had to return it.

"I told you I wasn't interested in a subscription," he tweeted in response to Painter's offer.

In addition, there are numerous facts that would indicate that Elon is behind it.

However, Sweeney does not say what that should be.

Business Insider

quotes an interview in which Sweeney explains why he turned down the

offer.

"I want my own car.

I don't want to have to give it back in three years.” If he got a real Tesla permanently, he would take it.

New trackers: Teen increases pressure on Elon Musk

When asked why he initially turned down Musk's $5,000 to delete the account, Sweeney said the offer was not enough to replace the comfort he gets from running this surveillance account.

In the meantime, Sweeney has increased the pressure on Musk.

On Feb. 5, he tweeted that he now has all the necessary regulatory documents and permits to track all SpaceX* aircraft.
