School enrollment date set

Enrollment at the Freising elementary schools and after-school care centers will take place on Wednesday, March 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

School enrollment is on March 16th.

But the parents have to arrange a few things in advance - an overview!

Freising

- It's about to start again: "School enrollment at the Freising elementary schools and after-school care centers for the 2022/2023 school year will take place on Wednesday, March 16th.

Parents can register their children between 8.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The following documents must be submitted for school registration:

■  

Birth certificate or family register or identity card/passport

■  

Certificate from the health department to be presented when enrolling at school (confirmation that you have taken the sight and hearing test, which is carried out free of charge by the health department in the kindergarten)

■  

Confirmation of the child's participation in the U 9 early detection check-up or the school doctor's check-up, if this has not already been "checked off" in the certificate to be submitted when enrolling at school

■  

Vaccination pass (proof of measles vaccination)

■ Declaration  

of custody for single parents

■ Baptismal  

certificate for Catholic and Protestant children

Enrollment is only possible if all confirmations can be submitted.

The pupils and pupils are to be registered at the respective parish school, since

are compulsory.

For the 2022/2023 school year, the following children are subject to regular school attendance:

all children who were deferred for the 2021/2022 school year (please bring the notice of deferral with you)

■  

Children born on or before September 30, 2016

■  

Children born in October, November and December 2016 can be admitted upon written application from their parents if it is expected that they will be able to attend classes successfully.

The school administration decides whether an examination of school fitness is necessary and whether the child will be enrolled in school.

In the case of children who turn six after December 31, 2016, it is also necessary for their ability to go to school to be confirmed in a school psychological report.

Parents whose children turn six between July 1st and September 30th can decide for themselves whether their child will start school one year later.

The school supports the parents in their decision-making process with advice and recommendations.

If the parents wish to start school later, they must inform the respective district school in writing by April 10th (deadline date) at the latest.

An extension of the deadline or a subsequent change is not possible.

Without such a declaration, the child will be required to go to school as normal in September 2022.

A deferral according to Art. 37 BayEUG is still possible.

■ Important:

One or the legal guardians must come

with their child to register for school.

This also applies to children who fall within the school enrollment corridor.

Please inform the responsible elementary school whether the documents can be submitted by post due to the pandemic.

Registration for the day-care centers of the city of Freising, the St. Lantpert day-care center of the Catholic Church and the after-school care center is also exclusively in writing.

From Monday, February 21, the registration forms can be downloaded online from the City of Freising's website

under Living & Living, Daycare Facilities, Registration & New Admissions or picked up at the Citizens' Registration Office.

The registration forms must be filled out and placed in the mailbox of the selected after-school care center by Wednesday, March 16th.

The last possible date for submitting the registration documents for the coming school year is the day of school registration, March 16th

The application for admission to lunchtime care can be submitted by March 16th to the responsible school, to the local lunchtime care or to the office of the lunchtime care.
