She proved that Duchess Kate can also do sports during a training session at the London rugby stadium.

Incidentally, she amazed with a sentence about her youngest son.

London/Munich - Whether elegant dresses or tracksuits: Duchess Kate cuts an elegant figure both on the red carpet and at sporting events.

In 2021, Kate delighted the royal fans and showed how she can handle a football.

Now the Duchess has become the new patron of the English rugby associations.

No wonder that she took the opportunity to take part in a training session right away.

Incidentally, she also surprised with a statement about her youngest son Louis.

Duchess Kate: Have fun with rugby training – and a surprise

Dressed in a black national jersey, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers, Kate couldn't help but be enjoying herself at Wednesday's (2 February) rugby stadium training session in Twickenham, London.

During her appearance, she also revealed one or the other detail about the royal offspring.

As the British newspaper

The Sun

reported, Kate had spoken of her older son Prince George, who played rugby and netball with girls and boys at Thomas's Battersea school.

As per the report, Kate said: "Now that there is a trend towards co-ed sports, not only are girls playing netball but also other sports like rugby." That's great, the Duchess continued.

Prince Louis, her youngest son, apparently also enjoys sports like this.

While the three-year-old may have seemed reserved when making public appearances, behind the scenes he's apparently quite a bright lad.

"Louis is a kamikaze," Kate revealed, according to

The Sun

, "we're worried as he gets older he'll be right in the thick of it."

'Very good for someone who doesn't play rugby regularly': Kate new patron of England Rugby Associations

In the middle - and obviously with great joy - was initially only the Duchess herself. According to the newspaper article, she was even able to score a point in the training.

"It's very good for someone who doesn't play rugby regularly," one player told

The

Sun.

In the wife of her grandson Prince William, Queen Elizabeth II probably found the right person for the post of patron of the English rugby associations.

Kate follows her brother-in-law Prince Harry, who had to give up the honor after retiring from royal duties a year ago.

Together with Duchess Meghan he moved to the USA, where the two are apparently not happy.

The associations were honored to have Kate as the new patron.

However, according to

The Sun

, Kate said it would be "very interesting" to a rugby player when the English team plays the Welsh rugby team.

The patron of the Welsh associations is Prince William.
