The president of the Council of Sages of the Torah, Rabbi Shalom Cohen, sharply referred to the current government and the rise in taxes and prices and said that we are in the period of the days of the Messiah.

In a meeting with Shas MKs, Rabbi Cohen said: "What does this government want from us? What did we do to them? Why are they trying to disturb yeshivot students?
