A serious traffic accident occurred in Fürth on Tuesday evening.
A truck driver crashed into several parked cars, some of which burst into flames.
Fürth – A truck driver rammed several parked cars on Hardstrasse in Fürth around 7 p.m.
"Some cars caught fire," the police said.
The Fürth fire brigade and the rescue service are still in action (as of 8:31 p.m.).

A police spokesman said when asked by

that the truck had rammed several cars and "sometimes pushed them into each other, pushed them into house facades".
The cause has not yet been fully clarified.
"The extent of the damage is not yet clear," said the spokesman.
"What made the whole thing more spectacular was that some vehicles started to burn." Some houses were affected by the flames.
"There's a lot going on at the moment."
A swath of devastation runs through Hardstrasse in Fürth.

The driver of the truck apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into more than 30 cars on Hardstrasse.

It is not yet clear whether there were any injuries.
According to the news agency, the truck driver was arrested by the police.
