Pfronten police secure 28 kilos of cocaine on the A7 near Füssen

Investigators from the Pfronten border police have now seized 28 kilograms of cocaine with a sales value of almost 1.5 million euros on the A7 near the Füssen border tunnel.

Füssen – Officials from the Pfronten border police station have now discovered and secured 28 kilos of cocaine in a car on the A7 near the Füssen border tunnel.
According to the police, the Italian driver was driving his car south on Autobahn 7 around 5 p.m. when the police stopped and checked him near the Austrian border.
They discovered the cocaine distributed in 28 packages in two subsequently installed hiding places under the front seats.
The 57-year-old driver was arrested and later taken into custody.
The police seized the drugs with a total value of almost 1.5 million euros.
The Joint Investigation Group on Drugs in Southern Bavaria (GER Southern Bavaria) of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office and the Munich Customs Investigation Office took over the further investigations under the direction of the Kempten public prosecutor's office.
