Mothers of children who were educated in a kindergarten in Petah Tikva, where the principal and the kindergarten teacher allegedly abused toddlers, refuse to digest the arrest.
"I'm in an abnormal market," said K., whose two children were in kindergarten about two years ago.
"The kindergarten principal was like a housewife to me. Now I'm afraid there might have been something and I did not notice."
The principal of the kindergarten, about 50 years old, and her daughter, about 30 years old, were arrested this morning (Tuesday) on suspicion of abusing toddlers in the kindergarten where they worked.
The investigation was opened after the police received a complaint from the parents of a two-year-old girl, who suspected that she was suffering from physical abuse in kindergarten, which even led to a behavioral change in her.
"I did not see warning lights, there was nothing," K. added, explaining that perhaps the corona period influenced the conduct.
"She always supported kindergarten supervision, all the parents were always very happy, my children were happy. I am in an absolute market," she said.

After receiving the complaint, the police began collecting testimonies from the girl's parents and later from other parents, along with collecting documentation from the kindergarten cameras and viewing the materials in accordance with a court order.
With the development of the investigation, analysis of the evidence and viewing of the documentation materials, several cases of very severe violence were identified by the kindergarten teacher towards several children at different times, including shaking, pulling hair, throwing the children and actual violence.
