Is the invasion approaching?
The US Air Force's strategic air alert level in Europe rose to level 2 today (Tuesday), only the second time in history.
Standby level 2 This is the second most serious military standby in the U.S. military warning system, with only alert level 1 higher than it. 2 was during the Cold War in 1962 when the Cuban Missile Crisis occurred in which the US and USSR were facing a nuclear war.
Meanwhile, a senior official confirmed that the Government of Canada today informed the citizens of the country residing in Ukraine to evacuate immediately for fear of a Russian invasion that might occur at any given moment.
The warning warned Canadian citizens to leave the country on the first available flight and to refrain from traveling to it.
