Gaißach - As of July, Gaißach will join the "Zweckverband Kommunales Dienstzentrum Oberland" (KdZ), which will then take over the municipal traffic monitoring in the entire local area.
The municipality of Gaißach was no longer satisfied with the regional traffic monitoring based in Wolfratshausen, as Mayor Stefan Fadinger revealed at the most recent municipal council meeting.
Therefore, the cooperation will be terminated on June 30th this year.

As the mayor further reported, the community will contribute 900 euros to the multi-year Saturn research project.
The goal is better traffic control in the Oberland: Digital data, for example for navigation systems, "should help to alleviate the increasing chaos in excursion traffic in the future," explained Fadinger.
Drivers should then be informed in real time about where there are currently traffic jams.
In addition, which destinations are already overloaded and where there are no more free parking spaces.
