at the level of the daisies
”, by castigating the attitude of the oppositions, in an “
anti-Macron obsession
”.

“
Today the presidential campaign seems to me at the level of the daisies.
It focuses on debates which are not the debates of the future for the country
", considered the deputy from Paris before the association of parliamentary journalists (AJP), pointing to the subjects of the date of entry into the campaign for Emmanuel Macron or rallying to this or that camp.
“
This campaign showed a lot of unpreparedness, incompetence and even improvisation
,” he criticized, pinning down the “
anti-Macron obsession
” of his opponents.
“
Wanting to be anti-Macron all the time is to tell two or three nonsense
,” he added.
"
A retro campaign
"
"
We are obsessed with the past
", he also added, with "
proposals (which) do not project our country into the future
" by targeting the episode of "
Kärcher
", an expression popularized by Nicolas Sarkozy and taken over by the candidate LR Valérie Pécresse on the theme of security.
“
We are witnessing a retro campaign
,” summed up Stanislas Guerini.
On developments in his own camp, the number one of LREM "
continues to believe in overcoming and expanding the presidential majority
" but this must not be "
balkanization
".
The "
common house "
of the macronie is in the process of being structured with the partners of the MoDem, Horizons of Édouard Philippe and still Territories of progress.
The deputy also said he was still convinced of the relevance of the "
cleavage between progressivism and withdrawal
", as in 2017 when Emmanuel Macron found himself facing Marine Le Pen in the second round.

Returning to the controversy caused by the pass of arms between the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin and a journalist from BFMTV on Tuesday February 8, Stanislas Guerini judged that it should not be seen
as "arrogance
" on the part of the tenant of Place Beauvau.
On the contrary, he saw "
pugnacity
" and a "
manly moment
", with "
a desire to fight step by step
" to defend his record against journalist Apolline de Malherbe: "
we felt that he was stung
".
