Violent accident at the Brunneck retirement home in Ottobrunn: an 18-year-old crashed into the middle of the entrance area with an off-road vehicle.

Three people were injured.

Ottobrunn

- At 4:46 p.m., the Ottobrunn fire brigade was alerted to the old people's home on Cramer-Klett-Straße.

The entrance area was in ruins.

Two employees who were at the reception at the time were seriously injured.

18-year-old loses consciousness at traffic lights

According to the police, the 18-year-old was heading south on Cramer-Klett-Strasse.

At the intersection with Putzbrunner Strasse, he had to stop at the red traffic light.

According to his own statements, he lost consciousness here.

As a result, his car left the roadway uncontrollably, first hit a concrete wall and then crashed unchecked through the glass facade of the old people's home.

After three meters, the vehicle came to a standstill inside in front of the reception.

The two workers were hit by the car and seriously injured.

The 18-year-old suffered a minor head injury.

All were taken to hospitals.

80,000 euros damage

The fire brigade had to pull the SUV out of the building with a winch.

At first it was unclear whether the statics of the building might be affected.

After a detailed examination, however, the all-clear could be given here.

The police estimate the total damage at around 80,000 euros.

Large contingent of forces

Cramer-Klett-Strasse and Putzbrunner Strasse had to be partially closed while the accident was being recorded and the clean-up work was being carried out.

The Ottobrunn fire brigade, the district fire inspection in the district of Munich, the police, the rescue service, the specialist adviser from the Technical Relief Agency and the specialist adviser PSNV-E were on duty.

Around 6:20 p.m., the fire department was able to hand over the scene of the accident to the police.

She has now started investigating the exact cause of the accident.
