After MK Bezalel Smutrich's visit to Britain and the attack on the umbrella organization of British Jews because they "reject his abominable views" while asking to "show him the door", tonight (Thursday) he met with MEP Meir Habib in France where he was welcomed.
As mentioned, the chairman of Religious Zionism, MK Bezalel Smutrich, continued his visit to Europe and arrived in Paris from London.
The first meeting took place in the French Parliament building together with Member of Parliament Meir Habib.
The two discussed strengthening ties between Israel and Diaspora Jewry.
Chairman of Religious Zionism with French MP Meir Habib,
"I am happy to host in the French Parliament my friend, my dear, former Minister Mr. Bezalel Smutrich, who in all his endeavors has fought for the Land of Israel. You are a very welcome guest in France and with us in Parliament," said Habib.
Smutrich said: "I thank you for the warm and cordial hospitality and send a greeting to the entire Jewish community in France - we are with you. The connection between the State of Israel and France is an excellent connection, we will continue to invest in strengthening ties between Israel and Diaspora Jewry.
Smutrich added: "I wanted to strengthen Mr. Habib, who fought like a lion to defend the interests of the State of Israel and the Jewish people in the French parliament. Meir is a proud and brave Jew who does not hide his sympathy and support for Israel and refuses to submit to leftist and progressive spirits and their forceful silence."
