The General Company for Water Bottling announced a new price list for the various sizes of drinking water bottles produced in its plants in Beqin, Al-Fijah, Al-Drekish and Al-Sun.
The company indicated in its new price bulletin, which SANA received a copy of, that the prices of containers from the factory’s land are 4000 Syrian pounds for a jar that contains 6 cans of 1.5 liters and 5000 pounds for 12 cans of half a liter.
A 10-liter package costs 2,500 pounds, a return package of 18.9 liters costs 2000 pounds, and a cup of various sizes is 300 pounds from the factory floor.
The prices for the distributor to retailers are 4400 Syrian pounds for the 6-liter and a half-liter container, 5350 pounds for the 12 half-liter containers, 2780 pounds for the 10-liter container, 2320 for the 18.9-liter container and 350 pounds for a cup of various sizes.
As for the prices of retailers for the consumer, it is 800 Syrian pounds for a liter and a half liter container, 470 pounds for a half liter container, 3000 pounds for a 10-liter container, 2320 for a container measuring 18.9 liters, 375 pounds for a cup of various sizes, 4800 pounds for a 6-pack of 1.5 liters and 5640 pounds for a container of 12 packs Half liter volume.
The Director General of the General Organization for Food Industries, Ibrahim Nasra, explained in a statement to a representative of SANA that the reason for issuing the new price list is due to the high costs of production requirements, stressing that all sales circles must adhere to the prices announced by the company.
