Pôle emploi: nearly nine out of ten job vacancies in 2021 have been filled

The labor market was exceptionally buoyant in the second half, with more recruitment projects converted within a short period of time.


2021, as we know, was an exceptional year on the job market - despite the pandemic and repeated restrictions - both in terms of job creation (nearly 650,000 jobs created in one year, never seen) than the drop in unemployment (490,000 less registered in category A at Pôle emploi, again a record).

No less than 44 million hires were made, with a strong acceleration in the second half, including 9 million contracts of more than one month.

On average, over the year, some 12,500 open-ended contracts were concluded in this way… every day.
