Two good news from the East:
After two years during which the Philippines was closed to tourists, starting today, vaccinated tourists from Israel will be allowed to enter the country without the need for isolation.
The vaccinated tourists from Israel will be able to enter without the need for a visa for a maximum of 30 days.
It is mandatory to present a negative result for a corona test performed in the 48 hours prior to the flight to the country.
The last obstacle to the move was resolved this morning when the Philippines announced that it recognizes the Israeli vaccinator certificate, regarding the efforts of the Philippine Ambassador to Israel Alberto Makirog, the Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Plus, the Minister of Tourism Yoel Rezbozov and the Philippine Minister of Tourism Brandetta Romulo Puyat.
The representative of the Philippines Tourism Bureau in Israel, Golan Yosifon, commented on the good news: "" We are very pleased with the decision of the Philippine government to recognize the Israeli vaccine certificate, which will allow many Israelis to visit the exotic Philippines, one of the most beautiful and unique countries in the world. "
Returned to India
Since the outbreak of the omicron, India has declared a duty of isolation for those arriving from Israel, even if they are vaccinated.
This morning it was announced in India that the state will remove the isolation obligation from 14 February and everyone will be able to enter it freely.
