Seven people were killed in an armed attack in western Nigeria

Seven people, including four policemen, were killed in an armed attack on a truck in Oyo state, western Nigeria.

According to local media, thieves fired indiscriminately at the truck that was transporting cash from a commercial bank in Ibadan, the state capital, killing four policemen and three civilians.

Dozens of civilians were killed and many homes burned in a massive armed attack launched by unidentified gunmen in Niger State, central Nigeria, late last month.
