The Europapark in Rust has announced an increase in admission prices for the 2022 park season.

These vary depending on the date of the visit.

Rust - The Europa Park in Rust attracts numerous visitors to Baden-Württemberg every year.

The amusement park is also constantly changing.

In addition to numerous new attractions in Europapark, the amusement park has now announced other innovations for guests, as reported by BW24*.

Many changes await visitors to Europapark in 2022.

Among other things, three popular rides have been closed since January, including the jungle raft ride, which is being rebuilt due to a racism scandal.

As reported by parkerlebnis.de, guests in the 2022 season can also expect an increase in admission prices.

Prices increase for busy periods

For the current park season, the admission prices for heavily frequented periods, such as the holiday season, will be increased again.

The prices were already raised last year - at that time because of the restrictions caused by the corona pandemic.

The price category for a day ticket depends on the date of the visit.

During the summer holidays, the price for an adult is now 62 euros and for a child 53.50 euros.

The overview shows which price category applies to which periods:

  • Price category 1: adults (from 12 years) 62 euros, children (4 to 11 years) 53.50 euros;

    Valid for the periods April 9-24, June 4-26, July 14-September 12, October 8-November 6, and December 23, 2022-January 8, 2023

  • Price category 2: adults 55 euros, children 47 euros;

    Valid for the periods from March 27 to April 8, April 25 to June 3, June 27 to July 13, September 13 to October 7, November 7 to December 22, 2022 and November 13 to 15 January 2023.

The two price categories enable visitors to plan their vacation in the park in a clear and transparent manner, explains Europapark.

In addition, the prices of the cheaper category 2 apply to guests who use the overnight accommodation offer in Europapark.

"Slowly it's getting cheeky": Europapark fans don't understand the renewed increase

On Facebook, the increase in admission prices is not only met with understanding.

Above all, the price for children is criticized in the comments under a post.

“How can a family with two children still afford that?” asks a user.

"Slowly it's getting cheeky," says another user.

However, many can also understand that Europapark now demands more from its guests and find that the price-performance ratio is very fair.

"A lot is also offered," says the comments.

Europapark fans will soon be offered another ticket: the popular club card will return in the course of 2022.
