The parish of Hörlkofen is offering a blessing path for couples, lovers and people in any relationship this weekend.

Hörlkofen

– The Hörlkofen parish offers on the weekend, 12./13.

February, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., a blessing path for Valentine's Day in the local church of St. Bartholomäus.

"Couples, lovers and people in any relationship are cordially invited to discover a relationship course at various stations in the church, to think about their couple relationship with different impulses, thoughts and actions and to give each other blessings and strength for their future path together", it says in the auspicious invitation.

The charming idea was conceived by the two leaders of the Liturgy of the Word, Maria Gaigl and Elisabeth Altmann, and pastoral officer Franziska Marschall.

With this campaign "in a very difficult time" they simply want to offer something different, explains Gaigl with a view to the current crisis in the Catholic Church.

And Altmann adds: “The church is not the official church.

We are all church.”

The blessing path in the church is aimed at everyone who feels addressed.

It is non-denominational and sees itself as a national offer.

"Each couple can go their own way," explains Gaigl.

The structure enables togetherness and also appeals to different senses.

"Couples can be blessed or give themselves a blessing."

In addition, there are contact persons on site.

“Everyone is invited, no matter where they come from.

We are happy,” emphasizes the leader of the Liturgy of the Word and advises all interested parties: “Take your time and prepare a different, but very special gift this year as a couple.”
