It would be the 13th suicide of a police officer this year in France.
This young father was attached to the Villepinte anti-crime brigade (BAC).
This Friday, the police headquarters confirmed the information in a message posted on social networks: “This morning, emotion grips us after the suicide of one of our colleagues assigned to the Villepinte BAC.

At the end of this meeting, Gérald Darmanin announced various measures, relayed in a press release by the ministry: the launch of a mission entrusted to the General Inspectorate of Administration (IGA), "to ensure the proper coordination and strengthening preventive medicine and the network of national police psychologists”;
the realization of an international comparison, "in order to raise the national police to the best international standards";
the sending of an instruction to the prefects "to remind the need to bring together at least three CHSCT
(health, safety and working conditions committee)
each year and the organization, within one month, of an extraordinary CHSCT dedicated to the issue of suicides in each department.
