Break - On February 10, a traffic accident involving personal injury occurred on district road 13 between Grafing and Glonn.

As reported by the Ebersberg police, a 24-year-old from the Munich district drove his VW Golf in the direction of Grafing.

Shortly before the crossing to Alxing and Bruck, he came too far to the left and collided head-on with a 68-year-old man from the Ebersberg district.

The 68-year-old was traveling with a combination of a white Fiat Ducato and a trailer.

There was also another vehicle on the trailer that was to be taken to a workshop.

The two drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals with bruises on their upper bodies.

The collision resulted in a total economic loss for the VW Golf and the Fiat Ducato.

The front axles of both vehicles were torn out, so they had to be towed away.

In addition, the trailer was so badly bent in the area of the coupling that recovery was difficult at first.

The force of the impact also threw the vehicle on the trailer forward into the back of the Fiat, which is why the front bumper broke.

Overall, the material damage caused is estimated at around 17,000 euros.

District Road 13 was completely blocked in the area.

The Bruck volunteer fire brigade was called in to secure the scene of the accident and to clean the roadway.

On site, it was found that the person who caused the accident had a breath alcohol level that was too high, which is why a blood sample was taken and the driver's license was initially secured.

The 24-year-old is now facing criminal proceedings for endangering road traffic and having his driving license revoked.
