Gas station robbers in Munich: seven robberies in just over a month - looking for witnesses

Gas station owners are on alert.

There have already been seven robberies since the turn of the year.

According to perpetrator descriptions, it could be a serial offender.

Munich – Inconspicuously he strolls into the gas station in broad daylight.

He is dressed in black and wears a red and white cap.

Most of his face is covered with an FFP2 mask.

On the pictures of a surveillance camera he can be seen doing his last act, the terror of the Munich gas station owners.

The staff is scared because it seems that a serial killer is up to mischief in the city.

Since the turn of the year, the Munich police have already received seven reports of robberies that could be traced back to the same robber.

The perpetrator descriptions are almost identical, the procedure similar.

Gas station robbers in Munich: the police are looking for witnesses

According to witnesses, the man is around 30 years old and around 1.85 meters tall.

Victims describe him as slim but strong.

Accordingly, he speaks German with a foreign accent.

In addition, the robber apparently always carries a dark gun with him.

But most of the time he doesn't pull it at all.

He has them on his body and only shows them to the cashiers.

That's enough to achieve his goal.

In all robberies, he demanded cash from the cash register, along with cigarettes – which he always got, with the exception of one case.

At the checkout he asked for cash.

It all started on January 5th.

The first destination: the Aral petrol station on Kapuzinerstrasse.

The alleged serial offender struck in the evening hours.

The second case dates back to January 12th.

After 11 p.m., the man attacked the Jet gas station on Landsberger Strasse.

For the first time not on Wednesdays, the gas station fright was up to mischief on January 20th.

Also special: he made off from the gas station in the Sonnenstraße area without any prey.

Instead, he struck again about two hours later – on Bodenseestraße (Pasing).

This time with success.

The most recent destination: the Total petrol station on Leonrodstrasse.

It continued on January 29th in Nymphenburger Straße.

Not under cover of darkness this time, but in the afternoon.

February 2: The Aral on Kapuzinerstraße is his destination again.

The most recent case happened last Wednesday at the Total petrol station on Leonrodstrasse.

As always, the perpetrator first stayed in the sales room, then went to the cash register, showed his gun and made off with full pockets.

So far there is no trace of him.
