Gregor Gysi shows his comedic side: The left-wing politician appears as the narrator in »Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show« in Berlin from March 8th to 10th.
"Perhaps his comments on the biting spectator objections are just as ironic and humorous as his legendary speech duels with the former Bundestag President Norbert Lammert," says the announcement from the "Admiral's Palace".
Gysi, introduced by the stage as a “skilled worker for cattle breeding, lawyer, experienced opposition leader”, was the leader of the Left Party parliamentary group for many years, and he won a direct mandate in Berlin in the 2021 federal election.
On other nights, actor Sky du Mont, 74, can be seen as the narrator in the musical.
The show promises a journey back to the "Rocky Horror" spectacle known as the legendary motion picture: "to B-movies, burlesque and glam rock".
