The Queen celebrated her 70th anniversary on the throne over the weekend.

Elizabeth II received congratulations from all over the world.

Harry and Meghan seem to have left the special day cold.

London – The Queen has been sitting on the throne for 70 years.

On Sunday (February 6), she celebrated her platinum anniversary quietly and aloofly, as in previous years.

While the jubilarian was staying at the East English country estate of the royals in Sandringham as usual, Buckingham Palace had great things to say in her name: Camilla, the wife of heir to the throne Prince Charles, Elizabeth's eldest son, should one day be called Queen.

What appears at first glance to be a logical step is, according to Royals experts, quite spectacular.

Because the question of whether Camilla can call herself "Queen Consort" - like her predecessors did - is controversial in the UK.

Some Britons still blame Camilla for Charles's breakup with Princess Diana, the "Queen of Hearts."

Queen Elisabeth celebrates her throne anniversary: Harry and Meghan practice silence

Peace, joy, pancakes on the royal holiday?

No, because the Queen's anniversary once again revealed how deep the ditch really is between the royal family and Prince Harry.

While politicians and other dignitaries around the world congratulated the Queen on the anniversary, Harry and Megan kept quiet.

Last year, the two got rid of all royal duties and have been living a civil life since "Megxit" in the USA.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz congratulated Queen Elizabeth on her day of celebration: "Her reign is unique and inspires people worldwide.

They encourage and give confidence.” British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, as head of the Anglican Church, also praised the Queen as a role model.

Harry and Meghan do not congratulate Queen on the throne anniversary – do they appear at the festival?

Harry's father, Prince Charles, reacted emotionally to the Queen's Camilla announcement: "We are extremely aware of the honor that my mother's wish means," the 73-year-old wrote in a message.

Son Harry has not spoken out publicly - although he has recently spoken out in public and it was recently leaked that Harry wanted to have "friendly video calls" with his father ahead of the Queen's Jubilee.

The Queen's record anniversary is to be celebrated on several days in early June.

Then there is also an additional, one-time holiday for all subjects.

There will probably be a hint as to whether Harry and Meghan will be part of the party as early as April: that is when the Duke of Edinburgh, Harry's grandfather, died.

Will he attend the memorial service?
