Part of the Republicans in 2017, the regional councilor of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes denounces a "race of small horses" to the radicalism.

The back and forth continues.

Invited this Friday morning on BFMTV, the regional councilor of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and minister during the mandate of Nicolas Sarkozy, Nora Berra, announced her rallying to Emmanuel Macron.

The Head of State can therefore count among his ranks a new figure from the right, while the deputy Éric Woerth and the mayor of Calais Natacha Bouchart have just left Les Républicains to join him.

Note, however, that Nora Berra was no longer listed since 2017.

A distancing from 2017

Member of Parliament for eleven years, Minister of the Budget and then of Labor under the mandate of Nicolas Sarkozy, Nora Berra had campaigned for Bruno Le Maire during the primary of the right five years ago.

In the wake of the presidential election, the elected official had distanced herself from the party by giving up her card.

The cause: the “

” of the then leader, Laurent Wauquiez, and the “

enormous difference

” with the right of Nicolas Sarkozy, the old “

open right, united in the center, a social right

”.

A project that only received 2.5% of the vote.
