Vice-champion RB Leipzig has at least climbed to a place in the Champions League for the time being.
The Saxons won 3-1 (1-0) against 1. FC Köln on Friday evening in front of 15,000 fans who were allowed back in for the first time and are fourth before the other games of the 22nd matchday.
Christopher Nkunku (25th) from a free kick, Dani Olmo (54th) and Angeliño (57th) led RB with their goals to their fifth win in sixth competitive game of 2022.
Leipzig – Tim Lemperle's goal (90+1) came too late for FC.
