The wrong vaccinator admits – he forged documents and injected hundreds of patients in Bavaria

He vaccinated more than 300 people and supervised the vaccination of more than 1000: The wrong vaccination doctor Stefan H. from Ottobrunn has now confessed to this in court.

Traunstein – He vaccinated and monitored vaccinations without being a doctor – in February and March 2021 at the Rosenheim and Karlsfeld vaccination centers (Dachau district) and via mobile vaccination teams.

According to the indictment, the 50-year-old is said to have given the injection himself to more than 306 people without a doctor's license and supervised injections by medical professionals in 1,144 cases.

That is why Stefan H. from Ottobrunn (Munich district), actually a theologian, has had to answer to the Traunstein district court since Thursday (February 10) for dangerous bodily harm, forgery of documents and misuse of title.

The 50-year-old admitted the crimes through his defenders.

The man was led into court in handcuffs, supported on a stick.

He has been in custody for a good nine months.

"It is correct that the defendant applied to become a vaccinator by submitting a forged license to practice medicine.

He doesn't have a doctorate," defender Carolin Arnemann said.

But what the defense later did not want to discuss publicly: The accused was HIV positive during the banned vaccinations.

However, the defendant wanted to prevent this from becoming known.

A request to exclude the public for this reason was rejected by the chamber.

The lawyer had previously emphasized that the 50-year-old had only used ready-made syringes and had not prepared any vaccinations.

His dream in life was to become a priest.

As a candidate for the priesthood, he completed lectures on psychology and medicine.

The bishop had forbidden him to study further.

After four years of training, he left the church career.

Subsequently, her client trained as a "systemic therapist", an unrecognized profession, and worked in bereavement care, including in hospices, including in Ottobrunn.

He opened a practice.

The focus of the practice was family support and grief therapy.

The defendant never prescribed or administered any medication.

Wrong vaccinator wants to "apologize to everyone he hurt and disappointed"

How the theologian became a vaccinator – the defense attorney referred to the defendant’s mother, who wanted to be vaccinated out of concern about Corona.

He was trained in injections by his father and his family doctor.

At the end of 2020/beginning of 2021, the 50-year-old had no understanding for the slow start of the vaccination campaign.

Then he applied to vaccination centers in Rosenheim and later in Karlsfeld.

The responsible aid organization hired him "trusting the accuracy of his information and the medical approval," said public prosecutor Markus Andrä.

The attorney denied any payments.

Her client wanted to "apologize to everyone he hurt and disappointed".

The scam came to light through the head of a vaccination center, who contacted the Rosenheim Criminal Police Office on March 23, 2021.

He informed about the complaint of a real doctor, according to which the alleged colleague had not been able to answer the simplest medical questions.

The trial will resume on February 17.
