With the participation of Syrian companies in the field of food industries, the activities of the Gulf International Exhibition for Food Industries, Gulfood 2022, will be launched tomorrow, Sunday, at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates.

The Local Production and Exports Support and Development Authority indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it, that the pavilion in which the Syrian Arab Republic participates has an area of ​​318 square meters, in which 25 Syrian food companies specialized in the production and marketing of olive oil, spices, confectionery, hot and cold drinks, baked goods, sweets, chocolate and other things are participating. Syrian food products intended for export.

In its statement, the authority pointed out that the Gulfood Dubai exhibition is the largest and most important among the international exhibitions specialized in the food and beverage industries, with the participation of 120 countries and more than 4,000 companies specialized in the food industry and marketing, in addition to 150 speakers who present their scientific expertise through conferences and seminars that are held during the exhibition in the presence of The most important businessmen and government leaders around the world.

The authority indicated that the exhibition aims to shed light on new innovations in the market, seize the rapid shifts in consumer behavior patterns for marketing food products, and revive communication links between thousands of entities operating in the food sector system over five days filled with buying and selling deals, rich dialogues and technical expertise.

In turn, a member of the Board of Directors of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry and the head of the food sector in the Chamber, Talal Qalaa Ji, pointed out in a statement to SANA’s delegate that there are about 20 other Syrian food industrial companies participating outside the Syrian pavilion, which raises the number of Syrian participating companies to 45, which confirms the importance of the exhibition to promote Syrian food products to international markets because these products enjoy a highly competitive quality, distinctive flavor and competitive prices.
