A 25-year-old man was killed after being hit by a vehicle near Baqa al-Gharbiya.

A 25-year-old man was killed last night (Sunday) after being hit by a vehicle near Baqa al-Gharbiya.

MDA crews who arrived at the scene provided medical treatment, but during the evacuation of the wounded to Hillel Yaffe Hospital were forced to determine his death.

MDA paramedic Adam Arida said that " "In the beginning, after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road, we provided him with medical treatment and performed advanced resuscitation operations. On the way to the hospital, we had to determine his death."

It was a deadly weekend on roads across the country when two people were killed on Friday night, and five others were moderately injured in a chain accident of Palestinian vehicles near the Albi Bridge, near Jericho.

The MDA team that arrived at the scene determined the deaths of the two, including a 42-year-old Israeli, and provided medical treatment to the wounded. The five wounded were later evacuated to the Palestinian Authority by the Red Crescent

. The northern beach in Acre and hit a power pole, and a 40-year-old pedestrian was also killed that evening by a motorcycle on Histadrut Street in Rishon Lezion.
