A medical study revealed that patients recovering from Covid 19 disease show many of the following symptoms of infection, which shows the long-term effects of this disease.
The study, published in the British Medical Journal (BMG), indicated that 32 out of every 100 elderly people with corona during the past year suffered from new symptoms that require medical attention in the months following infection.
Symptoms include changes in the body's organs and systems, including the heart, kidneys, lungs and liver, while the corona infection has affected mental health.
Corona patients usually face largely pneumonia and fatigue in the body, according to what doctors monitored at the beginning of the epidemic, before it became clear that the virus was hitting other parts of the body.
The study comes at a time when scientists are still studying the long-term effects of corona, while researchers in the study reviewed health insurance plans to identify more than 133 thousand people infected with corona before April 2020, where they noticed the emergence of new symptoms 21 days after the diagnosis of patients with corona, which confirms that it has symptoms appear after recovery.
