Salhab Club won the Hama Boxing Championship for children born 2006-2007, which was held on the boxing ring in Al-Basel Sports City within the competitions of the (Work in Accomplishment) festival, with the participation of 25 players who represented Salhab Clubs, Al Nawa’ir Clubs, Hama Police Class A and B, Hama workers, Shabiba and the training center.
Salhab managed to take first place with 10 points, followed by Al-Nawair with 6 points, Hama Police (A) with 5 points, Hama Police (B) with 4 points, then Al-Shabiba and the Training Center with 3 points each.
The weight competitions in the championship were won by Jaafar Ajeeb, 46 kg, Youssef Diop, 60 kg, Ibrahim Saleh, 66 kg, Haider Jagaili, 80 kg, Muntasir Billah Al-Assaf, 48 kg, Ogaili, 54 kg, Ayham Uday, 52 kg, Hadi Jagaili, 57 kg, and Issa. Hamida with a weight of 75 kg, Hadi Soudan with a weight of 50 kg, Abdul Karim Al-Younes with a weight of 80 kg, Zidan Dergham with a weight of 63 kg and Abdel-Hadi Mamlouk with a weight of 70 kg.
Shadi Issa, a member of the technical committee for boxing in Hama, told SANA reporter that the tournament was characterized by the wide participation of all clubs practicing the game in the governorate, with the exception of Al-Talia Club.
Issa indicated that the sport of boxing in Hama is in constant development thanks to the presence of solid rules in the clubs, and that the players are achieving outstanding results in local and foreign tournaments.
For his part, the player Zidan Dergham, the governorate champion, weighing 63 kg, said that the tournament was of a good level and was characterized by excitement and rivalry among the talented boxers, pointing out that it constituted an appropriate opportunity to prepare for the Republic Championship this season, as he trained well to ensure a positive result in record time.
