With the participation of the students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad, the INFO CUP 2022 International Informatics Championship, organized by Romania remotely, started today over two days, with the participation of 164 male and female students distributed among 41 teams from 14 countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that four students from the Syrian Scientific Olympiad team, specializing in Informatics, are participating in this tournament, two of them are old students, Amin Sherba from Damascus and Ahmed Tohme from Homs, and two of the new members who joined the national team early this year are hilarious. Hajj Younis and Amr are also from Homs.
The commission indicated that the team's participation takes place from its headquarters in Damascus through two rounds, each lasting four continuous hours, today and tomorrow, and within the conditions specified by the organizing country.
Participation in this tournament is the beginning of the participation of the Syrian International Scientific Olympiad for the 2022 season and a new and important opportunity to benefit and compete in programming for promising talents in the Olympiad Informatics team.
