What's going on with her today?
Mariana's weightlifting career ended in 2016, when she competed in a push-up competition and finished in third place with a result of 108 kilograms.
It was later revealed that she came out positive on a drug test, when she was only 16, disqualified and suspended for two years.
Following this she decided to retire from the field.
Now that she is already 22, Mariana has hung up the weights and become active on social media as she looks completely different.
The British "SUN" reported that she has replaced her blonde hair with brown hair, and is updating her 35,000 followers on Instagram about the trips she makes around the world and her degree studies in international relations.
