Living in Munich is expensive.

The search for an affordable apartment is therefore often difficult.

A picture of an apartment advertisement that is now circulating on the internet causes a stir.

Munich – If you have ever looked for a new apartment in the Bavarian state capital, you will probably have lost your nerve.

Living in Munich* is expensive, so expensive that for many people it is almost impossible to find affordable accommodation in a reasonably central location.

A couple of tenants recently sued their landlord because the rent was significantly too high.

The court agreed with them *, several thousand euros are now due.

A picture that is now circulating on the "Jodel" app confirms the Munich problem in a curious way when it comes to housing.

Apartment photo from Munich causes horror: "This is inhumane"

But what can you see?

The photo, posted by an anonymous user of the app, shows an apartment ad.

You can see a room with a bed, a closet, a shower and a washbasin.

For these 10 square meters, a whopping 650 euros in rent including heating is required.

But apart from the horrendous price that is demanded for this room, the author of the picture is wondering something completely different - and seems not to be alone.

"And the toilet is then behind the closet?" he asks and puts the question in writing.

And indeed: a toilet cannot be seen in the photo.

In the comments, users speculate what it could be all about.

Munich: Rent a room without a toilet?

"That's super antisocial"

"I think to the left of the bed.

But you definitely have to share that with your roommates," says one user smugly.

Another replies: "In the closet".

The advertisement as such is an absurdity for most of the users.

Another even goes one step further: "That's super antisocial, sorry, but that's almost inhumane." Either way: It remains a mystery where the toilet is actually hidden in the room.

What is certain is that the picture will cause a lot of laughter in the yodelling community.
