At the main police station in Frankfurt, two groups of young men get into an argument.
Suddenly someone pulls out a knife and injures his opponent life-threateningly.
Frankfurt – A 20-year-old man was critically injured in a knife attack at the main station in Frankfurt*.
Around 1 a.m. on Friday night (February 11, 2022), two groups of young men got into an argument at an exit to the B level.
This was reported by the Frankfurt police on Sunday (02/13/2022).
It is still unclear how many men were involved in total and what the reason for the violent argument was.
The argument quickly became physical and one or more participants also used tear gas on their opponents.
Suddenly one of the men pulled out a knife and attacked a 20-year-old with it.
With a stab in the upper body, he injured the young man life-threateningly.
The attacker then fled via the Zeil shopping street in Frankfurt* in the direction of the Main.

The entire dispute and the escape of the alleged perpetrator did not go unnoticed, even in the middle of the night.
The video surveillance installed at the Hauptwache* in Frankfurt in the summer of 2021 recorded everything and helped the police to act quickly.
The police officers immediately took up the pursuit and finally put the alleged perpetrator on the Main bridge "Eiserner Steg", the investigators reported.
The 20-year-old attacker tried to defend himself against the arrest, but was finally taken to a cell at the police headquarters.
On Friday, the police officers brought him before a magistrate.
The seriously injured man from Bad Soden am Taunus (Main-Taunus district) underwent surgery and is now no longer in mortal danger.
