Large police forces in the Jerusalem district are currently operating (Sunday) in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and so far eight rioters have been arrested for clashes between Jews and Arabs.
Among the detainees were two men who allegedly sprayed passers-by with pepper spray, and others who were arrested after allegedly throwing stones and bottles.
As mentioned, the clashes broke out against the background of the suspicion of setting fire to a Jewish family home in a neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
Later tonight, a demonstration is expected to take place near Tal Yeshubiev's house in the neighborhood, which was set on fire last Saturday by rioters from the Arab sector.
Knesset members from the "Religious Zionism" list announced that they would participate in the demonstration.
