Cem Özdemir, the new Minister of Agriculture, has issued an instruction to his employees that causes astonishment.
Berlin - Cem Özdemir (Greens) is said to have surprised his employees with an instruction.
Since the start of the traffic light government under Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), the man from the Greens has been Minister for Agriculture.
"Please create fewer templates for me," Özdemir had reported to his ministry - that's what
bild.de claims
to have learned.
According to the report, from Özdemir's point of view, it is sufficient if the papers from the departments and departments reach the state secretary level.
Özdemir (Greens) with instructions: Ministry spokesman confirms the end of "micromanagement"
"Good leadership also means trusting and strengthening employees," confirmed Julian Mieth, Özdemir's spokesman to
Bild.de.
Apparently, the minister's instructions really exist.
But why?
"The minister has decided, in the interests of a well-run authority and as is usual in other ministries, to put an end to the micro-management of the previous house management," added Mieth.
That sounds like a dig at Özdemir's predecessor, Julia Klöckner from the CDU.
Özdemir (Greens): What is micromanagement, what does the minister want to abolish?
“Micromanagement” is understood to mean a type of leadership that is very much concerned with details.
Micromanagers spend a lot of time in meetings to be kept up to date on all aspects of a project or part.
In the process, groundbreaking decisions are often overlooked - in favor of many decisions at subordinate levels.
Özdemir had recently rejected a law against food waste.
Acted temporarily as a photographer during the election of the Federal President - for the former Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU).
