The vaccine Novavax should reach Brandenburg in the course of the coming week.
Four deliveries are planned by the end of March, said spokesman Gabriel Hesse from the state Ministry of Health on Monday on request.
First, the "Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung" (online) reported about it.
Potsdam – Novavax is primarily intended to vaccinate nurses and medical staff who have not yet been able to decide on a Covid 19 vaccination.
According to the decision of the Conference of Health Ministers, vaccination will be compulsory for these employees from mid-March.
A complete vaccination with the new vaccine is then still possible in a timely manner.
