The used car market has been hot in recent years.

The amount of ads for the sale of vehicles on the various sites is overflowing, and by all estimates this trend will continue.

Israelis have already realized that buying a new car is a much less cost-effective business than buying a used car - but at the same time there are hundreds of lawsuits filed every year in court by deceived buyers who find to their surprise that the amount they paid for the car is far from true.

This happens because there are quite a few loopholes in the law that allow crooks to disguise a history of accidents, foreclosures and more.

In fact, the used car market is full of lack of information and transparency, imposters and stakeholders - who take advantage of the bad way in which the market is run in their favor, as well as dealers and garages that "knock" the little citizen.

This lack of transparency leads to garages, market officials and people in the field exploiting their power and not sharing critical and material information with buyers.

Although it is now customary to take the vehicle to a garage or institute for vehicle inspection, the information obtained there is also limited.

On examination, for example, it is not possible to know whether the vehicle is foreclosed, what is its full accident history, whether there are open claims against it and more.

Anyone who has purchased or intends to purchase a used vehicle is aware of this concern: Did they really give us the real details about the condition of the vehicle?

Will we wake up the next morning buying with a non-moving vehicle?

Before buying a used car it is important to check all the details about it - and if until today we had only one option to perform such a test and that is to go to a test institute or garage, today there is a revolutionary online test - without leaving home, which redefines the test procedure before buying a car and gives a lot More information than we were used to receiving -

a BlackRock report

(inspection before buying a car) can prevent situations in which the seller takes advantage of the buyer's good faith and hides many faults in the vehicle he sold.

Bought a used car and was stung for NIS 200,000

This is exactly what happened to 72-year-old Yitzhak Sultan, who decided to buy himself a reliable car.

He entered the "Yad2" website and found a Volvo car from 2019 for NIS 200,000.

He arranged to meet with the seller at a car park in Ashkelon - so he could see the vehicle for himself.

When they met, the seller told him that the vehicle received a small blow in the back, but claimed that "the matter was taken care of."

After seeing the vehicle, Sultan of course wanted to do a test at the institute as well.

And the seller of the car took him to a testing institute near the lot and claimed that the other institutes were busy, but insisted that it was a reliable institute.

The institute told the Sultan that there was a malfunction in the steering wheel of the vehicle and needed to be replaced, and that the paint on the vehicle chassis had peeled off.

We also noted at the test institute that it is possible that in the past the car door was replaced, repaired and painted - but he was not told exactly what happened to the car.

After hearing from the institute, he was no longer satisfied with the deal and wanted to cancel it - however the seller claimed that he had already paid the fee and replaced the tires at Sultan's request.

After a bargain, the seller agreed to deduct NIS 3,000 from the price, and Sultan purchased the vehicle.

He of course hurried to fix the steering rod, but was required to order part from abroad - and wait two weeks until he arrived in Israel. After the part arrived in the country, it was discovered in the official garage of 'Volvo' that the vehicle he purchased for a large amount received a very strong blow and its sensors were defective - so the entire rear of the vehicle had to be dismantled because defective suspensions were installed. Is in a state of "loss of law" - that is, can not get on the road and there is economic inefficiency to repair it.

He again approached the person from whom he bought the vehicle and demanded to cancel the deal, but the seller claimed that 14 business days had passed - and now the deal could not be canceled, although for those two weeks they waited for the part that was missing in the vehicle.

Isaac took the vehicle and left the place, on his way to consult a lawyer to see if the seller could be sued who took advantage of his good faith and sold him a broken vehicle.

Is it really impossible to buy a used car without a report from the LKR?

When Yitzhak was in the garage, the manager recommended that he issue a Balkar report based on the vehicle's license number (directly from the balcar.co.il website) - and this was the first time he heard about what could have saved him from the purchase. Balkar report (inspection before buying a car) It is an online report that can be issued according to the license number on any used vehicle in Israel - whether it is from a private person, from a lot or from a trader.

At low cost you can check the history of the vehicle and the owner.

This is a revolutionary new report, sent directly to your inbox and clearly presents and reads important findings on the used vehicle you are about to buy: liens and mortgages, accidents, cost history, insurance claims, impairment, dealers, and more.

This is valuable information, which to this day may have been hidden from you when you purchased a used car yourself.

The BlackRC report relies on information from insurance companies, the Licensing Office, the police, the Ministry of Justice and other Big Data databases. , Was it impaired, was the vehicle mortgaged, were the hands that held the vehicle always private or was it passed on to a leasing company and other relevant and valuable information for you.

In this world it is called CarFax and it is usually the government that sells this information to franchisees. In Israel as in Israel the government shies away from this responsibility due to such and such regulatory reasons. The report checks the vehicle owner to make sure it is reliable and does not hide information. Save you from buying a faulty car.

The set of comprehensive tests that the Balker report performs against official databases and sources of information will not necessarily replace a physical inspection of the vehicle and the recommendation is to continue testing the vehicle at an authorized testing institute.

Yes.

What you heard - the report costs 149 NIS and you will receive a refund of 149 NIS or 25% discount, according to the higher of the two (!) If you decide to take the vehicle for a physical inspection at a network of testing institutes nationwide and you also get a 6-month warranty.

In fact, this is the 'missing piece' that was hidden from you until today when you came to buy a used car in Israel.

A BlackRC report will give you the most comprehensive information about the vehicle and allow you to make the right decision in peace of mind.
