The plan, formulated by the Ministry of Finance under the direction of Minister Lieberman, will be presented tomorrow in the socio-economic cabinet.

Senior finance officials will present a new program for the ultra-Orthodox sector in the socio-economic cabinet tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, the main purpose of which is to encourage people to go to work.

The program was formulated under the direction of Minister Lieberman and was first published in the news edition of Channel 13.

According to the plan, the discount on property taxes, daycare and day care will be denied to non-working parents, and the number of study hours in yeshivot will be reduced from 40 to 20 per week without a reduction in their budget, so that students can work part-time.

In addition, the program will encourage core studies in ultra-Orthodox schools.

Will the meetings be affected?

Prime Minister Bennett is expected to support these measures by the Minister of Finance, which are intended to encourage the ultra-Orthodox population to go to work.

Last week it was reported in "Israel Today" that Bennett told his associates that he was satisfied with Lieberman: "He is not a populist, and for a long time there was no finance minister who was willing to make such unpopular decisions."

However, this is a political minefield as the plan is likely to face opposition from some coalition members.

It will also be recalled that one of the first decisions Lieberman made as finance minister was to condition the receipt of financial assistance on registration for the supervised dormitories, only for families where both parents work or study a profession can be assisted in the country.

The move was supposed to affect 21,000 toddlers in the ultra-Orthodox sector, but was halted by High Court judges who ruled in January that the daycare subsidy for students' children would continue until the end of the current school year.

The Economic Cabinet was established by the Minister of Finance in August last year.

It is headed by the former Governor of the Bank of Israel and winner of the Israel Prize for Economics, Prof. Yaakov Frenkel.

The experts, who are members of the Cabinet on a voluntary basis, are: David Boaz - former budget commissioner, attorney and accountant Udi Barzilai - former deputy commissioner of real estate taxation, Eli Yunes - former accountant general, CEO of Bank Hapoalim, CEO of Bank Mizrahi, Anat Levin - former Deputy CEO of Migdal, Deputy CEO of Bank Hapoalim and Prof. Ephraim (Efi) Tzedaka - former Chairman of Shikun VeBinui.

Meanwhile, MK Moshe Gafni of Torah Judaism attacked Lieberman: "The plan that is being published now is not new.

There has already been in the history of the Jewish people who said "and their religions are different from any other people and the king's religions are not done and the king is not worth letting go of."

On the other hand, the chairman of the Economics Committee, MK Michael Bitton of White Brush, welcomed the decision: The Israeli. "
