More than 6,300 trainees benefited from the activities and free courses held by the Human Resources Association during the past year, according to what was presented during the celebration of the fifteenth annual anniversary of the Association, which was held today at the Sheraton Hotel in Damascus.

Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Rakan Ibrahim explained to SANA that the ministry supports the role of these associations through legal facilities for their work, in addition to technical, administrative and logistical support and providing care for them due to their role in providing practical training for entrants to the labor market and contributing to securing job opportunities for young people in the public or private sectors. private.

In turn, the association's board chairman, Dr. Munir Abbas, stressed the association's role in the reconstruction of the human element, as it is the right investment, pointing out that the association provides its services free of charge and voluntarily to all beneficiaries.

And he indicated that the number of workshops and trainings offered at the association reached 210, and the number of beneficiaries reached more than 6,300 trainees and job seekers during the past year, adding that "the number of job opportunities announced reached nearly 1,100 in various local and international organizations, sectors and industries."

The Director of the Human Resources Department at Syriatel, Samar Halabi, explained that the company is one of the supporters of activities related to human resources, pointing out that there is permanent cooperation with the association in the field of developing human capacities and exchanging experiences in order to develop the Syrian labor market and provide it with real experiences on modern scientific and administrative foundations.

The trainer in the field of marketing and business administration, Firas Ramo, said: The training program allows applicants to the labor market to be ready, as the candidate is prepared to work in terms of skills and experience in various sectors to be acquired in a practical way.

Rama Abdel-Majeed, a law student from among the trainees, said: “The important thing that I gained from the courses is new relationships and experience in dealing with people and communicating with them better, in addition to strengthening my personality.” While business administration student Mohamed Ataya stated that the courses offered give sufficient experience to enter the market Working and adding new experiences with academic study, advising all job seekers to attend these courses and focus on the practical aspect as it is the basis for entering the labor market.

During the ceremony, the association honored students, trainers and strategic partners, most notably the Syrian Trust for Development, in the presence of a number of representatives of ministries, directors of organizations in the public and private sectors, and NGOs.

It is noteworthy that the “Human Resources Management” Association is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that works to spread the culture of human resources management in the public, private and private sectors and to raise awareness of its importance as a strategic partner for business institutions in Syria.
