(1998) before praising the health personnel of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital, where he remained hospitalized for 48 days.
"The good thing is that there are people who study, they give up their lives (...) there were 14 shifts (...) we saved 80 of the 97 who were in the ICU, I got rid of one...", he emphasized before saying that as a result of the disease he suffers from 80% atrophy of his muscles.

Resines was discharged from the Gregorio Marañón hospital in Madrid on February 10 after having spent 48 days in hospital for complications arising from covid-19, and now he continues to recover at home.
After leaving the hospital, the actor dedicated a letter of thanks to the health staff "because apart from having treated my family and me with enormous affection, they have literally saved my life."
